Outpatient Hospice Care

The Johannes Hospiz outpatient hospice care service is situated in the Rudolfstrasse 31, close to the hospice for stationary care at Hohenzollernring 66.

Our aim is to assist the critically ill and the dying who wish to remain in their own homes for the last phase of their life.

Our main focus is on providing support to individual patients and their relatives. Our volunteers (both male and female) make regular visits to patients in their own homes to help patients and families through this difficult time.

Our volunteers are prepared and trained to provide this service. They spend time with the patient and the relatives, for example in conversation, listening or reading aloud. What they do at each visit, how often they visit and how long they stay, depends entirely on the individual needs of the patient and their family.

Our services are free for the family and are financed in part by donations. We work with the charity Caritas Muenster.
